Reducing the high and increasing cost of housing and transportation in Washington County can only be described as a work in progress.

GROWashington-Aroostook has approached this issue with public and private partners in the state and region including Washington County Council of Governments, Washington County: One Community, Healthy Acadia, Maine Rural Partners, West’s Transportation and Washington Hancock Community Agency.
